We can’t be the only New Yorkers who love to scour real estate listings in our spare time. Here’s our weekly take on NYC properties with big promise.
Oversized One-Bedroom in the East Village
What we love: Huge floorplan with additional sleeping alcove or home office, glorious city and skyscraper views, plenty of natural light, great location.
What we’d do: Investing $20k in the kitchen for updated floors, counters, and cabinets would complement the modern stainless steel appliances already in place. If the parquet flooring looks past its prime, assume you’ll need between $20-35 in new wood flooring labor and materials per square foot.
